Personal Injury Litigation/Trial Paralegal Duties: Assist trial attorneys in helping our injured clients heal, and then in preparing their cases for trial against the insurance carriers and their counsel. Utilizes current computer technology, cutting-edge case management software, and a strong and experienced support staff to provide excellent, professional services to clients. Working with one litigation attorney preparing filed lawsuits for potential jury trials. Will be including utilizing case management and document management software to maintain file organization, scheduling all litigation deadlines and court hearings, drafting and filing pleadings in state and federal courts in Nebraska and Iowa, answering written discovery, noticing depositions, issuing medical records subpoenas, and creating trial notebooks and medical record exhibits in preparation for trial. Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies or an Associate's Degree with Paralegal Certificate, and 10+ years of Litigation experience is preferred. Must have 10+ years' experience in personal injury litigation and trial preparation work.
