Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work for personal injury law that focuses on premise liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. Responsibilities includes: Drafting correspondence, motions, discovery, and/or pleadings, Compiling organizing, redacting, and labeling documents for production, Docketing and managing deadlines, Communicating with clients, Requesting and reviewing medical records, Creating medical chronologies, Proofreading, Drafting and preparing settlement disbursements. Should have 5+ years of experience but must have at least 3 years of Georgia experience. Must have 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in Georgia. Should have excellent people skills. Must have familiarity with relevant laws in the areas of personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents, and insurance. Should have computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal software. Knowledge of medical terms and insurance coverage types and policies is required. should preferable have Personal injury experience.
