Litigation Paralegal The candidate will draft routine legal documents. Will manage multiple cases from start to trial.. Collect documents from various sources. Collect, organize, analyze and summarize medical records. . Review and analyze documents. Assist with preparation of depositions, including gathering and organizing exhibits. Assist with trial preparation: assist with pretrial documents (deposition designations, exhibit and witness list, organize exhibits, files and other supporting documents). Assist during trial: manage exhibits, assist with witnesses and any other duties associated with trial. Conduct various document searches and factual research. Paralegal Certificate (required) with Bachelors Degree is strongly preferred. Should have 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Experience preparing for trials and/or arbitrations is needed. Experience with litigation software, including, Relativity, Concordance, CaseMap, Trial Director. Experience in all phases of the litigation process is needed. Ability to effectively set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects for several attorney is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skill is needed. Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is needed.
