Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will manage a plaintiff personal injury caseload. Will monitor medical expenses, lost wages and other damages. Gather and evaluate medical records. Consult with clients and their medical providers regarding medical treatment status and future medical needs. Maximize available insurance coverage to serve clients medical and financial needs. Negotiate bodily injury and uninsured motorist settlements. Prepare closing statements and process settlements. Prepare for trial. Develop and maintain effective working relationship with medical and legal professionals in the local community to improve referral rates. Maintain contact with former clients to secure repeat business. Must have 3+ years of PI-litigation experience. Should have strong interpersonal skills. Understanding of strategic business relationships is required. Must have time management skills. Organization skills needed.
