Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney The candidate will oversee the firm's pre-litigation case portfolio and work closely with case managers to ensure that each case is being handled and worked up appropriately. Gather necessary documents and evidence as well as any other relevant information, assist with treatment, schedule meetings to go over each case, and negotiate a settlement offer. Manage the firm's pre-litigation personal injury department. Conduct meetings with case managers to go over each case. Prepare cases for demand. Help case managers work up cases to obtain maximum value. Negotiate and settle cases. Perform administrative and management functions for the department. Direct and support investigation on all assigned pre-litigation matters. Communicate with clients. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. The candidate must have a Juris Doctor degree and current good standing with CA State bar is required with 2 years of relevant experience; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; ability to manage discovery and assist with trial preparation; active, acute knowledge of medical experts; active knowledge and ability to settle litigation cases for full value; a firm understanding of California Personal Injury law; to set high standards for self and be an example of what's possible; thrive on working hard to over-deliver and delight the client; great tech skills and the ability to learn new software applications quickly. Must be able to work under pressure A"things change fast around here; a self-starter with a high level of resourcefulness and initiative; highly detail-oriented with superb organizational and project management skills; a great communicator so you can collaborate with other team members in a professional, efficient manner. Should be internally driven, able to take direction well, and is detail-oriented; a team player ready to come in and immediately contribute to a positive workflow.
