Associates are allowed to choose the practice areas and specific assignments that interest them, and they will be challenged with responsibility and client contact.
Legal Secretary - Business Law, Real Estate & Intellectual Property The candidate will partner with multiple attorneys to provide support for their Business Law, Real Estate, Intellectual Property practice. Support Intellectual Property attorneys in connection with all aspects of the case management of trademark and patent matters. Supporting Corporate Business attorneys in connection with all aspects of franchise agreements and disclosure documents, as well as other contracts, amendments, letters of intent, term sheets and correspondence. Supporting Real Estate attorneys in connection with all aspects of corporate real estate transactions and documents, as well as searching records. Transcribe, type, proofread and finalize documents, correspondence, memos, reports, addresses as per firm policy or instructions from legal staff. Copy large volume of documents, memos, reports and other materials as required. Maintain and enter time charges into the billing system as required. Update calendars, schedule meetings and conferences; other duties assigned. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years law firm and administrative assistant experience. Exceptional technical skills required, including knowledge of MS Word, Adobe Professional, Outlook, MacPac numbering, tables of content and electronic file management plus. Strong organization, communication and client service skills. Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, multi-task, a self-starter, ability to work independently, strong communication skills, analytical, organizational, strong project management, interpersonal skills, and superb client service skills a must. Detailed oriented, excellent grammar and speaking skills and the ability to multi-task as essential.
