Patent Paralegal Duties: Docketing incoming prosecution items, liaising with client contacts, filing prosecution items and patent applications with the USPTO through EFS-Web, assisting internally in reviewing and analyzing documents, monitoring deadlines, and providing general administrative support to attorneys. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working in a patent preparation and prosecution environment. A strong understanding of US, PCT, and foreign patent filing and prosecution requirements. Proficiency in a variety of software applications including, among others, Microsoft Word, Visio, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with one or more patent docketing platforms, preferably Appcoll, IP Folio, and Anaqua. Expertise with EFS-Web and E-PCT platforms. A high level of attention to detail. The ability to work independently.
