Plaintiffs Medical Malpractice Paralegal The candidate's duties include: Responding to new client enquiries; Requesting medical records and liens; Drafting pleadings including S&C's and BP s; Electronic filing of pleadings and other court documents; Drafting discovery demands and responses; Drafting discovery motions; Compliance with court-orders; Trial preparation; Drafting settlement documents; Drafting infant compromise orders and death compromise orders. 4+ years as a plaintiff's medical malpractice paralegal required. Familiarity with legal research required. Ability to prioritize and multitask required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Should perform with a high degree of accuracy. Experience with litigation and with the SmartAdvocate file management system is a plus.
