Commercial Lending And Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will assist lawyers by preparing and reviewing legal documents such as loan agreements, promissory notes, mortgages, deeds, closing statements and UCC financing statements, as well as reviewing related due diligence pertaining to commercial lending and real estate transactions such as organizational documentation, title commitments and recorded exceptions, real property surveys, leases and lien searches. Should have at least 2 years of experience as a commercial lending and real estate paralegal, in addition to a degree in paralegal studies, NALA paralegal certification, or a bachelor's degree; or alternatively at least 5 years of demonstrative commensurate experience working as a lending/closing assistant with large commercial lender, title insurance company or similar role. Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced team environment, and must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Should have a working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel is required. Competitive pay and benefits.
