Public Finance Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for providing support to the public finance attorneys. Assist with the transactional work of the section including the execution of closings from start to finish. Assist attorneys with drafting bond issue documents. Organize, proofread and assemble all closing documents including post-transactional closing transcripts. Regularly communicate with clients and other parties in the bond transaction to coordinate execution of documents and prepare for closing. Obtain items such as good-standing certificates and related documents from the appropriate state agencies. Prepare and file required government filings such as those required by the IRS and other agencies. Maintain certain data and help provide information for RFPs. Maintain resource files for clients. Process audit letters. Conduct research as required by attorneys. Maintain section work-in-progress list. Assist with the organization of form documents. Help maintain content on section intranet site. Perform additional responsibilities as requested. Associates and/or Bachelor's degree preferred. Should have 5 years of public finance transactional experience required, preferably in a law firm setting.
