Civil Litigation Paralegal Duties: Provide support to attorneys through all phases of civil guardianship and probate cases* Ability to draft documents and pleadings. Ability to manage a guardianship and probate calendar. Solid understanding of Nevada District Court procedures. Must be able to obtain your Notary Public. Constant attention to detail and accuracy, confidentiality. Must be able to follow instructions and execute the task(s) in an organized fashion. A responsible individual who can work both independently and in a team environment. Must be proficient with technology, including computers and programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication, in person, on phone, via email, and by text. Experience with basic office hardware such as scanners, fax machines, copiers, etc. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and assess priority. Working knowledge of case management software or ability to quickly learn. Qualifications: A Paralegal certificate or degree preferred. An Associate degree is preferred. Civil Litigation, including guardianship and probate, 2 years preferred. Wills, trusts, & estate law, 1 year preferred. Microsoft Office 1 year is preferred.
