Patent Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate should have experience filing documents with the USPTO for all phases of the US patent prosecution process and experience retrieving information from the USPTO patent and trademark systems. Must also have experience with coordinating foreign patent prosecution, including filing PCTs applications and docketing foreign patent matters. Experience with Prolaw, Anaqua or similar document and practice management systems is a plus. Must understand docketing and must possess the skills necessary to draft and edit complex documents and should have experience with preparation and filing of IDSs. Must also have strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel), Adobe Acrobat required. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required, and paralegal certificate is a plus. 5+ years prior related experience required.
