Immigration Paralegal Duties: Contribute to one of the most sophisticated and multi-dimensional business immigration and global mobility practices in the U.S. Work with our team of attorneys; interact with multinational corporate clients; and draft government filings on behalf of highly skilled technical workers, business executives and leading international scientists. Assist attorneys in preparation of employment based immigration petitions and applications. Utilize web-based immigration case management system and database continuously and accurately. Manage a heavy caseload of immigration matters in various stages. Contribute to the development of practice processes to simplify work, standardize procedures and help the team operate more efficiently and effectively. Conduct Immigration-related research. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree and demonstrated strong research and analytical skills are required; paralegal certificate or degree will be considered in lieu of a four year degree. 3-5 years of employment-based immigration experience; candidates with an international or multi-cultural professional background and an interest in immigration law will also be considered. Excellent computer, communication and research skills and are looking for an exciting career in Immigration Law, we have an opportunity for you as an Immigration Paralegal. Energetic, organized, detail-orientated and disciplined, with the willingness to work hard. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, through effective communication and organizational strategies. Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines and other time constraints, with competing and shifting priorities. Knowledge and commitment of the utilization of technology. Ability to bill 1550 hours, annually, to meet the firm s billing expectations for paralegals. Strong project management skills. Expertise with Lawlogix or INSZoom immigration case management system is highly preferred. Foreign language proficiency is preferred. Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, analytical and decision making skills.
