Plaintiff's Employment Attorney The candidate's responsibilities include: Working with law clerk and intake specialists to conduct client consults and intake; Editing intake into pre-filing letters and pleadings; Promptly prosecuting cases through written and oral discovery, with assistance of paralegal; Filing necessary motions, and informal discovery conferences; Engaging in settlement discussions and mediations with opposing counsel; Preparing and conducting trials and arbitrations (with supervision); Managing law clerk and/or paralegal work through delegation and off-loading to ensure balanced team workload. Some California employment law experience required. Must be able to balance all the aspects of individual and class action wage and hour cases, from intake, to filing, to discovery, without supervision. Great writing and organizational skills required.
