Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. Handle incoming and outgoing calls. Open Personal Injury files that include sending first client letter, ordering medical records, and setting up the physical file. Obtain and maintain necessary information for each file that includes calls to client for death certificates, autopsy reports, etc. and follow-up to make sure that the documents are provided. Prepare and send medical records/x-ray films to Experts. Prepare Affidavits to send to Experts. Interview expert witnesses. Propound and respond to Discovery. Prepare for hearing and/or trial presentations. All scheduling assignments that include telephone conferences with Experts, clients, pre-deposition conferences, and depositions. (Contact Court Reporter and set-up telephonic conferences for all depositions). Create To-Do tasks. Update calendar. 3+ years' as Litigation Paralegal required. Must read, write and speak English proficiently. Second language capabilities are a plus.
