Bankruptcy Paralegal Responsibilities: Responsible for providing support to the bankruptcy attorney. Managing the Attorney General portfolio including updating and maintaining files, drafting and filing proofs of claims and various other pleadings. Drafting and filing motions and proofs of claims for other clients including mortgage and auto lenders. Monitoring and managing the various mortgage lender client websites. Calendaring and tracking hearings and deadlines. Qualifications: Paralegal degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of bankruptcy experience is preferred. Strong computer skills: Familiarity with Windows Operating System. Strong communication and time management skills.
