Drafts Federal and State Estate Tax Returns and proofreads for accuracy. Analyzes financial records and drafts internal office inventories, Probate Court Inventories and Fiduciary and Trust Accountings. Provides guidance to clients and fiduciaries regarding estate administration tasks and provides information to CPAs to facilitate income tax return preparation. Assists clients and others in collecting estate assets by compiling required legal transfer documentation and completes claim and new account forms. Manages checkbooks for Estate and Trust funds and maintains accountings of funds received and expended. Performs other duties as assigned. The candidate should preferably have Degree or certificate in paralegal studies. 5+ years of probate paralegal experience preferred. Must have strong organization skills and an ability to prioritize and multi-task. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a client service attitude required.
