Paralegal - Finance DUTIES: Index and organize documents. Proofread legal documents and contracts. Review, revise and update charts, logs and indices. Organize and index correspondence, memorandums, attorney notes, closing documents and other legal documents. Duplicate and redact documents. Maintain current and accurate time records and time sheets. Perform special projects as assigned. Drafting transaction documentation for Servicers and assisting with post-closing work. Managing files for transactions. Drafting Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Assignment documents to securitized trusts. Preparation of Uniform Commercial Code documentation to perfect, terminate or assign security interests. Reviewing Survey and Title Insurance documentation in commercial real estate transactions.
Qualifications: Four year college degree and a paralegal certificate with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 2 years prior experience in described areas. Survey and Title Insurance documentation experience. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint experience is required. Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail. Ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical or spelling errors. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and follow instructions effectively.
