Litigation Paralegal for Class Action Employment Law Firm The candidate will work well under deadlines and is able to prioritize a high volume of tasks. We are looking for someone who can adapt to new technology and would love working in a fast-paced, yet friendly team-oriented environment. 2 years experience as a civil litigation paralegal in a law firm required. Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's preferred. Class action/high volume litigation experience a plus. Knowledge of California employment and labor law a plus. Experience working on plaintiff's side a plus. Spanish-speaking a plus. Must be able to work under the direction of a senior paralegal and attorney on a high case load are equired. Maintaining complex and large volume of civil case filing are requird. Assist in Preparing/filing of Summons and Complaints, Motions, PAGA notices, Pleadings, Discovery, Subpoenas, Deposition Notices. Effectively communicate with clients, courts, counsel, experts, witnesses, etc., via phone, email, and correspondence. Effectively use technology including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Calendar, email, Client Management Software (Clio), and other apps (will train on our software, but applicant needs to be able to adapt to new tech easily). Proficient in technology/quick to learn new tech are required. Have excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
