Immigration Paralegal Duties: Provide administrative support to department manager. Assist with general departmental administrative functions. Review paperwork for accuracy per department guidelines. Fax, Copy, and prepare handouts. Handle incoming calls and make outgoing phone calls as needed. Update department spreadsheets as needed Job Requirements. Needs to have immigration Law experience. Must know how to do Expungements and court petitions. Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines. Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity. Keep track of attorney s calendar. Second call attorney s cases according to their schedule.
Qualifications: 2 years experience in a law office. Bi-lingual English/Spanish required. thorough knowledge of legal principles and practices. thorough knowledge of legal research techniques and legal terminology. Ability to adapt and flourish in a fast-paced environment. Excellent writing and communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills including Excel. Superior customer service in-person and on the phone. Ability to exercise independent judgment and represent company and department in a professional manner. Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and handle constantly changing priorities. relevant computer software knowledge and experience.
