Litigation Attorney The candidate will conduct legal research and gather evidence. Draft letters, pleadings, notices, contracts, and other legal documents. Provide proper legal citation and statutory interpretation. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations. Explain the law and give legal advice. Facilitate innovative solutions to client problems. Receive and respond to discovery requests and subpoenas, including gathering and reviewing documents. Handle and manage appropriate calendaring of scheduling orders and other deadlines. Maintain accurate case files, notes, and reports. Track and log legal invoices and expenditures. Must be licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state where the hired candidate will be practicing. Must have 2+ years of legal experience with a law firm or in-house legal department. Have a superb writer with the ability to effectively and persuasively communicate. Must have impeccable attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Have excellent communication and analytical skills. Initiative to problem solve and expand knowledge and areas of expertise with minimal supervision is required. Must have the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and set priorities with excellent follow-up. Strong fact-finding and research skills are essential.
