The Matian Firm, APC is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Immigration Attorney to join our growing EOIR team. This person will be responsible for managing client relationships, case review, analysis, preparation and filing of family-based petitions, and other immigration court proceedings. Qualifications: * At least 1-2 years of Immigration Law experience * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required * Previous experience with EOIR * Knowledge with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications * Experience with Case Management Software, such as Clio and Airtable Responsibilities: * Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the Immigration Court, BIA and 9th Circuit, when applicable * Communicate with clients and attorneys for the preparation of upcoming Master, Bond, and Individual hearings * Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems to meet both internal and external deadlines * Follow internal office procedures * Make regular updates to our case management system including client information, case tracking information, and client communications * Maintain electronic copy files and documents to support all immigration activity on behalf of clients * Ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress of their cases * Assist attorneys and other team members to manage caseload * Complete assignments and communicate case progress on a weekly basis Compensation and Benefits: The Matian Firm, APC offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, catered lunches, complimentary parking, paid time off, and more! The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and case management skills, as well as knowledge of the immigration court procedures, bond proceedings, and BIA and 9th Circuit motions/appeals.
