Immigration Paralegal Responsibilities: Admit new clients by reviewing records and applications. Establish processes by setting reminders, file assignments. Monitor cases. Maintain clients records by reviewing case notes; logging events, and making sure progress is up to date. Conduct weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations; disseminating results and obstacles. Improve staff competence by providing educational resources; balancing work requirements with learning opportunities; results evaluating and re-designing processes; implementing changes; results by monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. Handle various immigration law cases such as DACA, TPS, EAD, SIJS, probate and family court, asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers, and U visas.
Qualifications: Should preferably have 1 year of relevant experience; proficiency in knowledge of EDGE/ Lawlogix System; People Management; Documentation skills; Analyzing Information; Decision Making; Research Skill; Verbal Communication; Written Communication; Resolving Conflict; experience in the field of immigration is a must; experience in the field of SIJS, probate, and family court, is strongly preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish; strong analytical ability and excellent comprehension, listening, and communication skills. Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to multi-task, and be PC proficient.
