Patent Paralegal The candidate will assist in all prosecution phases of a matter from filing of application through to issuance of a patent. Prepare patent applications and subsequent instructions for primarily PCT and non-U.S. jurisdictions. Prepare formal papers, including powers of attorney and assignments. Communicate and coordinate with colleagues, clients, and foreign agents. Review and process inbound mail. Report PTO activities to clients. Monitor docket for assigned matters to ensure all deadlines are timely met. Provide back-up coverage on quality control of filings. Mentor and train more junior members of Paralegal Team. Bachelor's or higher degree is required. Should have 7+ years of patent prosecution experience; experience in PCT and non-U.S. filings is required. Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and IP-specific platforms, including ePCT is required.
