Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for assisting partners with the filing and management of cases. Will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various matters at the firm. Assuming some administrative functions such as emailing, scheduling, and saving and organizing documents. Create and maintain documents for clients. Keep case files organized and complete. File pleadings in Federal and State court. Drafting cover letters and documents. Compile documents for circulation to parties. Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders. Conduct legal research. Must have litigation paralegal experience. Should have experience filing pleadings at the State and Federal level. Must have experience drafting routine cover letters and similar correspondence. Discovery review experience is great. Experience as a legal secretary or paralegal is essential. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate is essential.
