Title : Senior Patent Paralegal

Senior Patent Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to assist in all prosecution phases of a matter from filing of application through to issuance of a patent. Prepare patent applications and subsequent filings for submission to USPTO. Communicate and coordinate with colleagues, clients, and foreign agents. Order documents from various sources. Review and process inbound mail. Report PTO activities to clients. Monitor docket for assigned matters to ensure all deadlines are timely met. Manage prior art libraries and charts. Assist with maintaining case files. Mentor and train more junior members of Paralegal Team. The candidate shall have Bachelor's degree or higher with 10+ years of patent prosecution experience; experience in U.S. filings is a must. Strong English written and oral communication skills. Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently and accurately in fast-paced environment. Ability to be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks. Ability to maintain large portfolios of cases. A strong drive and willingness to own projects and see them to completion. A collegial spirit with a willingness to train and be trained and take direction from others. A practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and IP-specific software.
