Legal Secretary/Litigation Assistant The candidate will be assisting attorneys in managing cases and supporting trial proceedings. Will be serving in heavy calendaring and scheduling of depositions. Serving in preparation of all litigation related documents including Pleadings, Discovery, Motions, Interrogatories, etc, which includes the input and maintenance of information into the case management system, known as Practice Master. Heavy tape transcription, typing and editing of letters and court documents. E-filing of court documents (both state and federal). Maintaining case files (including the file of all paper documents into the physical file). Handle highly confidential, sensitive and/or critical information, files, records and reports. Coordinate and manage personal workflow to ensure correct output of documents and assignments as instructed. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience as a litigation secretary in the State of CT. Must be proficient in state and federal court e-filing. Exceptional secretarial and administrative skills essential. Excellent communication (both written and oral) and proofreading skills needed. Experience with PracticeMaster a plus.
