Bankruptcy Paralegal Duties: Gain valuable work experience and further their career with a strong, established firm in Los Angeles. Responsible for a high volume caseload, as well as client interaction. Huge potential for larger earnings and growth with the firm. Draft complaints, motions, discovery. Provide assistance on foreclosure issues. Requirements: 2 years of experience in bankruptcy matters. 1 -3 years' experience preferably in the mortgage or banking industry. Experience drafting legal documents including opposition briefs Familiarity with local rules and procedures is required. Must be PC literate and able to rapidly adapt to a variety of data base systems. Excellent attention to detail and is persistent and thorough in completing work tasks. Fluent in Spanish. Outstanding dependability, cooperation, sense of integrity, initiative. Strong speaking ability and speech clarity, talking to others to convey complex ideas and information effectively. Ability to actively listen, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate. Ability to identify and manage complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
