Litigation Paralegal Duties: Handling the management of cases through the life of the case for 4-5 attorneys. Reviewing, organizing, analyzing, and evaluating claim file materials, medical records and bills, accident scene materials, and discovery, and then creating chronologies and summaries. Responsible for all aspects of discovery with your cases, which includes preparing discovery requests, identifying missing discoveries, issuing subpoenas, and collecting records from clients. Extensive interaction with clients. Preparing cases for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, which will include extensive contact with clients, witnesses, experts, attorneys, and other professionals both on the phone and via email. Understanding and following client-specific billing guidelines and ensure all billable work is being performed within those guidelines and captured appropriately. Qualifications: Should preferably have a Bachelor's degree. Experience working with medical records. Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Excellent communication skills (including written communication). Must be a dynamic, self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail, organized, and has the ability and motivation to work independently. Should be willing to talk with individuals on the phone.
