Paralegal - Finance Transactions The candidate assists attorneys in rendering legal services in the area of commercial finance and lending transactions, with a focus on the preparation of form documents and to facilitate the closing of transactions. Provides various coordination efforts with respect to the documentation and closing of commercial lending transactions. Creates, composes, and edits written material such as transaction documents, UCC financing statements, correspondence and/or legal documentation. Conducts corporate due diligence. Conducts lien searches; analyze and summarize results. Ensures all pre-closing preparation, and post-closing follow up is properly completed in a timely manner. Performs electronic research using Westlaw, Lexis and Internet. Prepares and files Uniform Commercial Code financing statements with the various governmental offices. Corresponds with clients and organizations, in writing, by telephone or electronic communications, as directed by the supervising attorney. Enters time and descriptions into InTapp and releases it on a daily basis. Bachelor s degree or Paralegal Certificate is required.
