Corporate Paralegal Clerk This Clerk will support paralegals and occasionally provides assistance to paralegals in our satellite offices - no travel is required. Primary responsibilities include prepare, index, retrieve and store files, organize project documents, perform extensive scanning and printing of documents, perform flawless proofreading of documents, complete minute book filing, type stock certificates, update stock journals, assemble transactional/closing binders, track FedEx deliveries and payment of vendor invoices, and other clerical and organizational tasks in a fast-paced corporate and securities law firm practice. Will be exposed to a wide variety of ground-level corporate tasks, including formation and maintenance of business entities, private equity financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, etc. Clerks who are diligent, hard-working and show a proficiency in all tasks assigned will be have an opportunity to participate in the drafting of routine correspondence and may assist the paralegals in the management of complex projects. If you are a serious pre-law student interested in Corporate and Securities Law, with exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to performing multiple tasks in a timely manner, and with a desire to provide extraordinary service to the Corporate Paralegal Team in a highly structured environment, this is an excellent opportunity to determine if the legal field is the right one. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and will possess an advanced aptitude for mathematical, spelling, proofreading and organizational skills. Proficiency in internet searches, Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat are required. Typing speed should be at least 50 words per minute.
