Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate to manage personal injury cases. Must have (i) the ability to multi-task and follow through with tasks and timelines; (ii) must be detail-oriented and organized; and (iii) must be a positive and happy person with a passion for working cases up for trial and attending trial. Responsibilities: Prepare complaints, discovery requests, discovery motions, and discovery memorandums. Scheduling of depositions, hearings, and mediations. Ensure all discovery propounded on defendant is received. Prepare discovery responses. Obtain and interact with experts. Interact with clients, experts, insurance adjusters, and medical providers. Investigate, gather, organize, and analyze information about client's case. Read, interpret, organize, and summarize medical records, earnings and defense documents. Interview witnesses. Prepare cases for mediation. Prepare cases for trial. Attend trial. Prepare closing statements. Should have Paralegal degree from a certified educational institution or certification as a legal assistant from the National Association of Legal Assistants preferred.
