Patent and Trademark Paralegal The candidate will be working remotely from a home office using your own computer equipment and furniture during normal business hours. An office phone would be provided to you. Will have two primary roles: 1) a USPTO Paralegal Role; and 2) a Client Communications Role. USPTO Paralegal Role would include filing patent and trademark documents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). We would also rely on you to review and process documents issued by the USPTO to help manage deadlines associated with the documents. Only limited training would be available directed to our internal processes - candidates must already know how to file patent and trademark applications with the USPTO to be considered. Client Communications Role would include consistently conveying enthusiasm and helpfulness when communicating with new and existing clients by phone and email. The firm would rely on you to explain our services to new potential clients and to help resolve non-legal issues for existing clients. Would welcome new clients to the firm, create new client files, and send initial documents to new clients. Further, you would answer non-legal questions for clients directly and obtain answers to legal questions from attorneys to pass along to clients. Should have 2+ year of PQE.
