Corporate Paralegal - Emerging Growth and Venture Capital ?The candidate will include preparing due diligence documentation and assisting with closings, including organizing, proofreading, and tracking documents; preparing summaries in connection with disclosure documents, coordinating the execution of closing documents; assisting with researching federal, state, and local laws, and preparing Blue Sky searches and UCC and other required filings; will be detail-oriented, have good judgment and problem-solving skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities within time constraints. They will also be proactive self-starters with demonstrated experience maintaining high-quality work products in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills, and organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary to be in this position. Should have a four-year college degree or significant relevant work experience in place of a college degree. Prior paralegal experience and/or paralegal certificate preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and AdobePro is required. An understanding of Carta and other capitalization table management programs and a working knowledge of Lexis is preferred.
