Corporate Paralegal The candidate will join Corporate Practice Group. Essential Responsibilities : Provide assistance during all stages of corporate transactions and closings, including helping with document distributions and the preparation of documents necessary to comply with federal, state and local regulations; Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy; Prepare documentation for amendments, withdrawals, mergers, and dissolution of corporations, partnerships, and / or limited liability companies; Complete regulatory licensing applications for recreational cannabis businesses; Research property characteristics, including ownership, zoning, water rights, and land use regulations relevant to cannabis.
The candidate should have 2 years experience as a Paralegal. Must have demonstrated proficiency in WORD and EXCEL. Should have demonstrated proficiency in document management and time entry systems. Must have excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. Exceptional organizational and file management skills a must.
