Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Serve as legal team liaison to client representatives, third parties, and outside counsel to effectively manage flow and accuracy of information in employment litigation related matters. Coordinate response to subpoenas and requests for information in collaboration with team members. Provide support to and communicate with outside counsel regarding administrative charges, litigation matters and discovery requests. Organize, maintain and supervise document collection for various matters. Create, disseminate and manage litigation holds. Prepare, develop and maintain employment related reports through manipulation of human resources related data. Conduct legal research on various labor and employment issues. Research, analyze and summarize legal sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treatises, constitutions, legal codes and law-related information relevant to the employment litigation practice. Routinely review and follow-up on client deadlines and calendar appointments. Consistently and professionally communicate with clients, opposing counsel, vendors, and firm personnel. Consistently complete assigned tasks when expected. Able to juggle multiple assignments and/or deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor. Review and follow-up on client deadlines, emails, and calendar appointments. Qualifications: 5+ years of paralegal experience dealing with complex litigation matters. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details. Able to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up. Strong personal computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Maintains a professional demeanor in high-stress situations. Works effectively and efficiently to complete all tasks in a timely manner. Maintains a positive and can do attitude when dealing with clients, co-workers, and attorneys. Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and congeniality. Is punctual and reliable. Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal firm personnel and external business clients. Ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly and professionally.
