Class Action Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work closely with a talented attorney in providing litigation support. Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices. E-file court documents in federal and state court. Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Draft and server summons. Coordinate and summarize depositions. Prepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibits. Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court. Aid attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Interface with clients to keep them apprised of the status of their case and to obtain documents needed for discovery. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources. Liaise between the attorneys and internal/external third parties, including co-counsel, counsel for defendants, and the courts. Associate's degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience is preferred. Should have 4+ years of working experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Should have general Litigation Experience, preferably in federal court.
