Paralegal - Real Estate The candidate will assist attorneys with the origination and closing of commercial real estate finance transactions, including reviewing and negotiating title, survey and other due diligence. Will be preparing and finalizing loan documents; managing due diligence checklists; coordinating and assisting with the closing and post-closing process. Will act as a liaison with various internal departments, as well as outside lenders, borrowers and other parties, including title companies and surveyors. Must have experience in commercial real estate finance transactions. Must demonstrate strong verbal and written skills, to include excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills. Must be able to work independently and effectively within a team and with clients. Ability to organize, prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently under specific time constraints. Must have intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office Suite applications, document management systems and time keeping software. Must have 2-5 years of Real Estate experience with a law firm, title company, mortgage company or other related entity. Previous experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or HUD loans a plus.
