Litigation Paralegal The candidate will join a plaintiff's personal injury and mass tort law firm. Assists the litigating attorney in moving litigation cases towards settlement. Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and notices. Monitor deadlines and due dates and ensure that deadlines are met. Draft and respond to discovery. Assist with discovery deadlines. Communicate with clients, opposing counsels, VLF attorneys, and VLF team. Schedule hearings. Communication with local, state, and federal courts - telephone calls, emails, correspondence. Must have knowledge of civil proceedings in Nevada and Federal Court.
