Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate will draft pleadings. Will draft client reports and budgets. Prepare and respond to written discovery. Prepare for, take and defend clients, other fact witnesses, and experts in depositions. Draft and, when appropriate, argue motions. Conduct settlement negotiations. Trial preparation. Attend trial as second-chair or lead counsel where appropriate. The candidate should have 3+ years' experience with litigation matters. Must have Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school. Must have Admission to DC bar or waiver eligibility. Admission(s) to MD and/or VA preferred. Must have strong analytical skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
