Litigation Associate Attorney Duties: Research legal issues for trust and estate litigation matters. Draft pleadings, discovery, memorandums, motions and other legal documents. Assist with trust and estate litigation matter from inception through trial. Make court appearances in the probate courts. Assist with probate administrations from initiation of proceedings to discharge of personal representative. Assist with conservatorship or guardianship matters from initiation of proceedings to representation of conservators or guardians for the duration of these matters. Other projects, as assigned. Qualifications: CA Bar membership required. 2-3 years of demonstrated law firm experience, specifically in litigation. Law review and/or moot court background highly preferred. Must have 2-3 years of litigation experience (probate litigation experience is preferred). Demonstrated interest in probate, trusts and estates law. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast paced office environment. Strong interpersonal skills.
