Part-time Immigration Attorney, Family-based Responsibilities: Handle family-based immigrant visa petitions and ensure accurate and timely preparation of each case. Correspond with potential clients during the intake process and maintain regular communication with existing clients for active cases. Correspond with USCIS and other government agencies when necessary. Prepare responses to Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reconsider, Responses to Notices of Intent to Deny. Stay current with governmental and regulatory requirements regarding immigration policies. Qualifications: J.D. Law Degree from accredited U.S Law School. Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state. 3+ years f experience and extensive knowledge in family-based immigrant visas. Ability to take initiative, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines. Thorough and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
