Paralegal - Finance The candidate will be assisting attorneys working on sophisticated corporate and finance transactions in a law firm or corporate legal department, with an emphasis in supporting transactional functions. Must have a four-year college degree, (or the equivalent of four years of paralegal experience) and ideally 5+ years of job experience. A Certified Legal Assistant Certificate is preferred. Experience in effectively handling multiple due diligence details for several transactions concurrently, accurately proofing documents, smoothly administering loan closings and correctly drafting documents is required. Experience with real estate transactions and closings, and survey and title review is preferred. Strong working knowledge of Word is required, as well as Outlook and PDF software (Acrobat, Nuance, etc.), and proficiency in the use of document management software. Knowledge of Excel is highly preferred.
