Immigration Paralegal Duties: Assist senior attorneys in managing their burgeoning caseload. Assist senior attorneys in managing their caseload. Interact with individual clients. Prepare and file non-immigrant and immigrant business and family visa petitions. Desire to learn and grow in the field of immigration law. Caseload will be primarily business immigration casework but can include family immigration casework to accommodate firm clientele needs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in business immigration law. Outstanding analytical, research, oral and written communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to multi-task and to prioritize your workload. Comfortable working independently with demonstrated initiative and persistence (moving the case along, following up with client for critical documents, servicing clients professionally and in a timely manner). Resourcefulness and good judgment (ability to recognize difficult/complex issues and execute solutions). Dedication with a professional attitude and demeanor. Pluses: Business immigration experience in the preparation E-2, O-1, L-1, J-1, EB1-1 to 3, and interaction with U.S. Consulates with visa issuance. Family immigration experience in the preparation of I-130, I-485, I-751, N-400, Re-entry Permit filings, including communication with NVC and assistance with IV processing at U.S. Consulates. Foreign language abilities.
