Legal Secretary Corporate The candidate will answer the attorney's telephone calls and arranges domestic and international conference calls. Manages calendar and schedules meetings. Provides timely input of attorney timesheets into the timekeeper system. Prepares correspondence, memos, and letters. Arranges travel and handles expense reimbursements. Interacts with firm personnel and administrative departments to complete objectives. Creates organizes, and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records. Assists with client bills under the direction of the billing department. Provides backup coverage for other secretaries as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have 5+ years of previous Legal Secretary experience. Excellent oral & written communication and interpersonal skills. Must be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and have great follow-through skills. Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar varies writing style to meet needs, able to read and interpret written information. Must have the ability to prioritize, work well under pressure, and multitask to meet deadlines. Be able to identify and resolve problems promptly. Strong overall administrative skills including, timesheets, travel, expense reports, copying, scanning, and coordination of filing. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and various legal software applications. Heavy knowledge of Word, plus basic Excel and PowerPoint knowledge. Must have exceptional knowledge of Outlook calendaring and scheduling. Experience with billing is highly preferred. Has the ability to use diplomacy and maintain strict confidentiality.
