Pre-Litigation Paralegal The candidate will follow up communications with both counsel and proper parties to secure documents including but not limited to settlement agreements, affidavits of heirship, lien status, and other documentation required for the facilitation of case settlements. Maintain active and ongoing communication with clients and carriers regarding case status. Ensure payment issuance to claimants promptly through communications with carriers. Closely communicate with team members regarding case settlement issues and assist with resolutions of such issues. Should have Strong organization and time management skills and the ability to simultaneously work on a large caseload. Knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures is a plus. Works independently with minimal supervision and instruction. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc., and Adobe).
