Immigration Paralegal The candidate will prepare and file immigration petitions with a focus on PERM labor certifications, employment-based immigrant petitions, and related adjustment of status applications. Will also work on nonimmigrant petitions and family-based cases. Analyze case documents and prepare immigration petitions and applications for filing with the appropriate government agency. Draft petitions, applications, and support letters (detailing immigration eligibility). Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals to obtain complete documents for filings, resolve processing issues, and provide application updates. Interact with government offices to move cases forward. Work independently, organize and prioritize tasks, and complete them under time constraints. Perform legal research as needed. Maintain calendars and to-do systems. Manage caseload and maintain case records. Must have experience drafting and filing immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, including PERM. Should have experience preparing RFEs and Audit responses. Must have 1+ year of experience as Immigration Paralegal. Should have proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with a case management system, such as Law Logix is preferred. Spanish language is a plus.
