annually Litigation Paralegal at Law Firm Law Firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team. As a Litigation Paralegal you will work closely with the talented attorneys providing support before, during and after trials. This position offers a competitive salary of $58,500k-75k annually. H1: Litigation Paralegal at Law Firm H2: Responsibilities * Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda * E-file all court documents in state and federal court * Communications with clients, court, counsel, and others. * Conduct legal research and factual investigation * Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses * Draft and server summons * Coordinate and summarize depositions * Prepare trial binders and exhibits * Drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court * Performing administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics) * Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes * Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices * Aid attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests * Gather relevant information from a variety of sources * Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties * Witness preparation * Assisting with case settlements * Other tasks as requested by the attorney H2: Qualifications * Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred) * 2+ years of litigation experience (required) * Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred) * Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas. (preferred) * Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings * Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices, etc. * Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Extensive computer and database expertise; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type no less than 35 wpm. H2: Compensation $58,500k-75k annually Law Firm is looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with talented attorneys and provide support before, during and after trials. The ideal candidate should have at least 2+ years of litigation experience, a nationally accredited paralegal program certificate and experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas. The Paralegal must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings are also required. Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices, etc. is also necessary. The responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal include but are not limited to preparing legal documents, e-filing court documents, communications with clients, court, counsel, and others, conducting legal research and factual investigation, preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses, drafting and serving summons, coordinating and summarizing depositions, preparing trial binders and exhibits, drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court, performing administrative duties, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices, aiding attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests, gathering relevant information from a variety of sources, liaising between trial teams and internal/external third parties, witness preparation, and assisting with case settlements. The successful candidate should also be highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and have extensive computer and database expertise (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type no less than 35 wpm). This position offers a competitive salary of $58,500k-75k annually.
