Requests fee approval, prepares hearing binders, requests all necessary documents from client, preparing for trials and meeting billing goals. Evictions Duties - Drafting notices to vacate, PFTA letters, motions for writ, etc. Maintains calendar for deadlines and assists in preparing attorneys for hearings. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or its equivalent. 2 years of prior paralegal experience in a default services law firm or within a mortgage loan servicing company working as a paralegal. Ability to manage a case load of approximately 300 uncontested files. Familiarity with client interface systems such as Black Knight (LPS), Vendorscape, Lenstar etc. in order to upload documents and track contested files. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and knowledge and application of legal research tools (Westlaw). Experience with Judicial and Non Judicial Foreclosures in Texas, Michigan, Illinois, Georgia, Kentucky and USVI a plus. Experience handling evictions (drafting notices to vacate, PFTA Letters, Motions for Writ,etc) Requires critical thinking skills, superior communication and organizational skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
