Legal Secretary (Commercial Lending) The candidate will be responsible for all elements of post-closing of commercial loans for our commercial lending closing team. This will include assisting attorneys and paralegals with closings, making minor changes to loan documents and scanning final documents for upload to a document management site. Will be responsible for completing delivery packages of loan documents, drafting closing statements and relevant correspondence, and uploading all documents. Job also includes corresponding with our clients and title companies to obtain recorded documents and deliver items needed for loan securitization. This includes review of all recorded documents and review of final title policies with recording information. Applicant will also be responsible for correcting any pre-funding items, and will work with the team and all parties to resolve any errors with closing documents. The candidate should have 3-5 years experience. Experience with loan transactions a definite plus. Applicant must be extremely organized and have the ability to work independently. Skills should include the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
